Andromeda Artifacts are meticulously designed by hand and then electroformed with copper. Electroforming is the process of running a low voltage current through an electrolytic solution which deposits copper ions onto conductive parts of the jewelry. This process can take up to 24+ hours, depending on the size of the piece. After electroforming, a dark patina is applied and then each artifact is polished to a high shine to reveal bright copper highlights.
To avoid discoloration, please do not submerge your copper artifacts in water or apply harsh cleansers or soaps.
